The Icon Museum: The spiritual Treasures of Ukraine
The only private museum of Ukrainian Icons. For many years Igor Ponamarchuk - a businessman and patron of art - collected and restored many Ukrainian Icons that would otherwise be destroyed and forgotten. You can now find these icons in the center of ancient Kiev near St. Andrew's church. The permanent exhibition also includes 50 of the best works of a reknown Ukrainian artist, Maria Prymchenko.
