Sofyivska Square Ice Skating Rink

Located near the Bohdan Khmelnysty monument is a new open-air municipal rink - the first of its kind in Kiev. This  ice skating rink has 600 square meters and will soon become a family favorite. The rink features special lighting and sound system that makes skating a really pleasurable experience. Every three hours on weekdays and every hour on the weekends one can enjoy a special ice show.  Skating at the rink is free of charge and open from the 8.00 until 23.00. You can rent skates there for 25 Hryvnas per hour. The rink will stay open until the beginning of March with the capability of functioning without freezing temperatures outside.
